Stake Track Meet

Our stake holds an annual track meet each spring and this is the first one we have been to in a couple of years.  I am so glad we went this year, we ended up having a really great night.
We are a brand new ward and pretty much all gender neutral colors were taken long ago, so the Windmill Ward was assigned pink.  You won't hear me complain, look at all my cute girls in their ward colors!
Daddy and his girls.  Zach's plan was to sit on the bleachers all night but he ended up racing in a few races.
Love my girls!
Chloe is so good to my girls!
The 5k was rough.  I haven't ran in quite some time and felt like to passing out at the end.  Thankfully Alexis and Maile decided to scoot the 5k and kept me motivated the whole time.  It was also fun having Chrissy and Chloe along side for most of the race!
Lexi on the final lap for the 5k, she did great!

Natalie and Aubrey getting ready for the 18mo-under 3 race.
Striking a pose while they wait.
Wish I got an action shot, but this fast baby took 3rd place!  I sure was one proud Mama!
Maile, Alexis and Rebecca running their hearts out!
Who knew running could look so fun?
Even Zachary got in on the running action.  There was some pretty stiff competition in Zachary's age group!

A very tired but very happy family. One of the best nights of the year so far!

Field Day!

I can still remember how much I loved field day when I was in elementary school.  I know that these special days at school will stand out in my girls minds for a long time and I am so grateful for the PE staff at the girls school because they go all out!  There are so many activities and it is pretty darn organized.  I especially loved the relay races they had after lunch, it was so fun getting to cheer on my little Rebecca who got to race for her class.  (they hold trials in PE to see who gets to be on the relay team)

Rebecca's relay team took 4th place.  I enjoy seeing my girls work so hard for something, I was very proud of my Becca!

Bike Rodeo

The girls had a bike rodeo at school last week and they really wanted to participate.  The girls were sad I wouldn't let them take their bikes to school, but they have really outgrown them.  They got to take their scooters instead and they ended up having a good time.  They should really thank their Daddy for running to the store last minute to pick them up new helmets since they were required for the activity.
Maile's grade had bike rodeo the day before and I forgot to get a picture, bummer!

Painting

My Mom thought it would be fun to go to this little art studio where you can learn to paint and have dinner at the same time.  Turns out she was right!  It was really nice getting to spend time with my Mom and Sisters since we are usually all so busy!
