School Happenings

Maile presented her report on George Washington in class.  It was fun to see her talking in front of her whole class.  Way to go Maile!
Maile's Basketball team was recognized at a Friday morning assembly.
I hung out after the assembly to help Maile's class make these cool masks.
Here is Natalie wearing the one Rebecca made the day before.
On this particular day, the spirit team was recognized at a Friday assembly.  They got to perform in front of the whole school and lots of parents, they did a great job!
My cutie pie Lexi with the school mascot.
For the new student open house, the Spirit team got to cheer for all the families coming to check out the school.
Rebecca always looking so cute in her boots!
When I went to the open house, I took pictures of pictures I found in the halls of my girls with some projects they worked hard on.

I have really enjoyed their new school. It is really living up to all the hype and I couldn't be happier with our decision to move them.

Railroad Tunnel Trail

A few weeks ago my sister and I decided to head out to Lake Mead and walk the old railroad tunnel trail.  After we got there we decided to make the entire trek all the way to Hoover Dam.  Round trip it was about 6.5 miles.  Easier on the way to the Dam and then a bit harder with many more inclines on the way back.  We made it and we were feeling very good about our workout.  The whole trip took us a bit under 3 hours and it was a good chance to hang with my sister!

Check out that view!!!
