Zion

To celebrate my Mom's birthday this year we took a trip to Zion for two days. We stayed in this awesome condo with beautiful views and lots of space for everyone. Day one we swam and had a BBQ and day two we spent hiking and exploring Zion. It was a great trip and the kids were extremely well behaved even during the hot and boring parts waiting for the busses at Zion. We all really enjoyed playing in the river and when we hiked the narrows through the river. So much fun! If I had a complaint it would be that Zion was packed with people. The lines to get to each stop made it feel slightly more like an amusement park than a national park (nature). I would really love to go back in a less busy season.

I would travel again with this group anytime. Such a fun weekend! And happy birthday to the most kind, generous, amazing MOM!

2016 School Year Wrap Up

After we got home from vacation, the end of the year sped by. There were so many end of the year events for all my girls we stayed pretty busy, too busy. Summer couldn't come fast enough for me!
Rebecca had another dance performance for her dance club at school. Super cute performance by my Becca who was grinning ear to ear all night.
The Renaissance fair at school had Maile and Rebecca performing. Becca was in a may pole dance and Maile a sword routine. Both girls did a great job and their sisters loved getting to dress up to go watch.

Gallery Walk night at the school is always an opportunity to see all the artwork and other projects the kids have been working on in school.
Maile and the Great American Challenge

5th grade ditch day was a fun day for Maile. All of the 5th graders walked to a nearby park, played games and had a BBQ. When I got there in the afternoon, the kids were wiped out from their fun filled day. Lots of tired, happy kids! Also, Maile has had the best teacher ever the past two years, love how much she does for her kids.

On this beautiful day, this awesome little lady graduated kindergarten!! She was the cutest little graduate ever.

4th and 5th grade award ceremony where they collected their pins for all the activities they were involved in this year.

Kinder Field Day

And Finally, with much anticipation, the last day of school. We were all excited...well except for Maile. She never wants school to end and always cries on the last day :( She is the sweetest and I think this year was especially hard because it marks the end of her elementary years and also the end of her time with her teacher Ms. Andrews.

Maile and her besties. They were all crying their little eyes out. It was pretty sweet to see.
