Ever since I had the twins I have wanted them to be sticks of Double mint gum for Halloween but I didn't I couldn't find costumes and I don't know how to sew and finding time to learn seemed too difficult when the girls were younger. Well this year I finally got it together! My mom who is pretty awesome with the sewing machine is helping me out with some impromptu sewing lessons. We got started this weekend and they are coming together quite nicely and this makes me want to learn how to make more things....but I must focus on the task at hand!

I took a fashion class Freshman year and all we did was sew.. I had a blast seeing what you made once your done.. Its soo satifying, but of course kids make all that alot harder. =)
